When am I getting fibre optic –?

I live in the Wokingham area – many streets have fibre broadband – except ours – my broadband speed is so slow it's very frustrating to everybody that uses it – to the point I am under pressure to go elsewhere

@Psycal No one here can say when fibre will be available to you, you could look here https://www.openreach.com/broadband-network/fibre-availability to see if its planned on your street as it should give you a planned date if it is,

The Openreach target to reach 80% UK FTTP coverage is the end of 2026.

Altnet deployment is on a totally different timescale and will vary between each ISP.

Note that the Sky sales system has a quirk where addresses currently supplied with Sky Ultrafast 1 over G.fast may be told FTTP isn't available when it actually is.
