Whats the Network ?
Hi,
I am on my 3rd Ring doorbell, the first had a hardware fault with the sensor. So I sent it back and had a new one, this refused to connect to my internet. I have a Sky Max router, with a pod. Even with the doorbell next to my router, it wouldn't connect. Contacted Ring and they said it could be my network, they say Ring doorbells require 2.4GHz , not 5GHz, and this could be why it won't connect, so I would like to know, what network GHz is Sky Max ?
Anyway I sent it back, thinking Ring doorbells are sh~t. So the new one came, ( 3rd ), this connected straight away to my internet, so I presumed the network was ok, but after 3 days, the doorbell went offline, and wouldn't reconnect, contacted Ring again, and they went on about the network GHz again. So has anyone else had this issue ? Personally I think these doorbells are junk.
Cheers
