What is sky boost?

Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone knows what "Sky boost" is, showing up on my bill for £7.50pm, not authorised? Thanks

Sky broadband boost includes daily line monitoring and the option of free sky booster boxes/mesh if you aren't getting 3Mbps in every room

I believe it became opt-out on new orders at some point.
