We have just moved into a property and are checking whether we have the right equipment. We have an open reach box on the wall with an attached green wire. On the Sky guides, there are other cables visible that we do not have. Will these come with the box?

'green wire', or thin white cable with a rectangular green jack plug and strain relief section?
Does the Openreach box have a power supply and lit LEDs?
If so it's an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) for FTTP broadband.
The only thing needed to link an ONT to a Sky Broadband Hub or Max Hub is a Cat5e ethernet cable.

Sounds like a full fibre ont modem. So long as you also have the power lead for the ont the a conversion kit (ethernet cable) should also be sent out if not you can get one from currys, pc world etc . You would need to get at least a category 5e ethernet cable. If you get one yourself you can get longer lengths in order to place the router more conveniently

Unfortunately it's not unusual for the ONT power supply to have departed with the previous occupants, which is a bit of a problem.
