What a disaster - this is my last hope!

Hi there,

I contacted sky last Thursday about cancelling my service due to TalkTalk offering a better deal on broadband and tv. The agent I spoke with said she would cancel it but I wanted to speak with my partner first.

Due to having mobile and tv my partner said we should remain customers and add the broadband (even though it’s more expensive) the agent updated my address which she has spelt wrong by the way.

Then assured me that because I had not moved from my own address yet she would ship the broadband modem to my old address. This is what sealed the deal.

I agreed to this.

2 hours later received an email from DPD to advise delivery to an address that is neither my old address or my new address… sky what the hell? It’s a mixture of my old and new address in the one

WHERE IS THIS? This is not my address new or old!!

I called back up a good few times since. One cancellations agent told me he would call me back once he had listened to the call and flagged with his manager as he said the agent tried to gain the system which is manipulation, he never did call back, he sent me a text saying he would ring me the following day. He also never did.

I rang back looked for a manager, no call back either, I called back in to be told they would call me the next day as the manager dealing with this was going on holidays??? Seriously!! Guess what, no call back???!

This is an absolute disgrace

The new address is even spelt wrong on my account! How does this happen !! The agent after the order said this previous agent had done something she shouldn’t have done to get a sale!!? Is this what Sky do?

This needs to be updated straight away to my correct address but every time I call and ask, nothing happens !! Also please raise and escalate a complaint right now!

I am tired of the promised calll backs that do NOT happen! It’s not right to treat a customer like this.. at this point I feel like pulling the plug on all my services!

This is mainly a customer helps customer forum so you’re not talking to Sky Customer Services. Sky won’t know who you are from your Community log-in name. Any agent you talk to on the phone can raise a complaint on your behalf or you can fill in the form here:-

as advised above, I have asked multiple times on each call for 

 

1. the complaint to be raised.

2. The address to be updated correctly

3. the issues to be resolved.

Did you miss the bit where you were told you were just talking to other customers?
