@DotL you cannot control which drvice connects to the extender pod or the hub it is automatic. The system should choose the faster source which may well not be the extender even if that is closer if the extender has a poor connection back to the hub. The pods therefore need careful placement wich should be roughly halfway between the hub and where you need the boost often hallways or landings are good positions.

Re: Weak wifi
@DotL Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources. A single wifi booster can help but it needs careful placement roughly half way between the hub and where you need the boost.
Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.

Re: Weak wifi
@Chrisee Thank you for answering my question. I do have a sky max booster but my devices not connecting to it for some reason and I don't know why.
