We have fibre, the hub is in the hall but I can't get any internet in my office

also my tab that's isn't hard wired keeps losing connection in the evening

If you are subscribed to the broadband boost service then you would be entitled to a wireless booster to extend the signal to the area required, and also the latest Sky wireless router if you take up the broadband boost service if you don't already have that service at the additional cost a month.
