Was suppose to get fttp installed today but engineers could not access telegraph pole to run new fibre line to my property. Engineer said the service certificate for the telegraph pole had also expired. Neighbour has a padlocked metal gate at end of there land obstructing access to the pole. Engineers can't access it at all. The pole is apparently in a no mans land area. What can be done to resolve this if anything? Very frustrating situation.

@Con4 Openreach will have to assess the options which msy take a few days. There can be occasions where these issues cannot be resolved. Is there no way that your neighbour can be persuaded to allow access? You can try argueing that atvsome stage his own linecwill need switching.
Sky wont be involced directly but keeping in touch with them will mean you will know whst Openreach have told them.
