@Zaffygsi69 Can you check that in the router settings that it is not set to fast and is set to gigfast in the router settings.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
@Zaffygsi69 open the router settings by typing in 192(dot)168(dot)0(dot)1 ( take away the word dot and replace them with a . ). Then click on the Ethernet tab it will ask you to login on the router, once on that page you will see 2 boxes once is for eco mode and the other is for speed, click on this if it says fast then change to gigfast.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
@Zaffygsi69 as well as checking the hub also check the network settings for thecethernet port on the device you are using as that has to support gigabit as well.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
Hi can get on to the router setting page but can't see anything or change anything. Just says change can be made on my shy app. Which has nothing on it.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
are the devices that are connected via the cable able to connect above 100Mbps? you may need to go in and change settings on the device if it is preset to 100 rather than 1000 in the network settings

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
The device is a new tcl TV it also states supports WiFi 6 but can't even see 5ghz,
It's odd because doesn't matter which port I plug cable on router on the setting for router is shows as port 3 regardless even if in port 1 or 2.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
Even a brand new high end UHD television set might well have a 100Mbs ethernet chipset because nothing such a set can display needs more than about 30Mbs (streaming UHD/HDR into an onboard app). 8K requires around 50Mbs, not that any such content is actually available.
Likewise the potential bandwidth of WiFi 6 is entirely unnecessary for a television, but the chipsets may well now be cheaper than earlier standards.

Re: Wan only shows 100mb
This is true..
But even wife WiFi using my services trying to watch movie files over 100gb it buffers and that's saying I'm getting WiFi speeds of 350meg and up router is about 10foot away.
With cable I don't get the issues.
But also why does the router settings say port 3 active and 100mb yet I can have it in 1 or 2 and they dont show up ,just port 3 which has nothing on.
