Waiting for engineer

I've downgraded my TV, but changed my broadband. Sky is saying I need an engineer but its been over 6 weeks and still no engineer

What date did they give you. If you are not sure does anything appear here for you:

They gave me a date, and they came out, but they said they have to dig up the path and I haven't heard anything since, I just keep getting a message saying an engineer is coming out or contact sky

Unfortunately that means you are waiting for Openreach (or more likely an Openreach subcontractor such as Kelly Communications) which can take a very considerable time.  Sky, like all other Openreach client ISPs, doesn't do any digging or cable laying itself.
