Waiting for “Pending Cancellation” status to be removed from my Sky account

I've informed Sky that I would like to cancel my service at the end of my contract but after they have offered me a good deal I decided to stay with Sky for a further 24- months. However recently I was told that there is a "pending cancellation " status sitting on my account, no discount can be applied until the technical team remove the status. 

A month has gone but nothing has happened and I am still being charged with the non discounted price.  They keep telling me the problem would be resolved soon but to this day I've heard nothing 

can anyone advise?

@Danny118 Call sky, get to a manager and see what they can do for you, that's about it!

Call back never happened

This might sound a bit pathetic but time and again I was promised someone from Sky would give me callbacks to discuss the ongoing issues. It never happened, on every single occasions. Always have to call Sky back after waiting whole day. 

just wondering why they would make such a promise but never fulfilled? Is there anyone experiencing the same treatment?

Ahhh thanks for that. Waiting for the phone call that never arrives is irritating but I guess I shouldn't have taken their words for it

We have agreed a new deal for the next 24 months after my current contract ended but they said due to technical issues that they aren't able to apply the discount hence I am still being charged full price. 

until technical department sorted it out, that is. They said they would provide me the update via phone or text. Neither happened. 

I've called them a few times but answer remains
