WIFI issues.

We recently changed from Sky Q & SKY Full Fbre SUPERFAST 500 with an additional 2 booster pods to Sky streaming with Full fibre gigafast with Max Hub. However since changing over the WiFi signal is appalling tbh( we had no issues with the WiFi on our old system) my speeds  this morning was Downlaod 54.9/ Upload 1.14.!! and a ping of 27!

The  Tv streaming buffers, freezes, stops and rewinds when watching a programme. Teams calls are completely embarrassing tbh.

Can anyone suggest the best way I can get the WiFi system operating better, which would be the best boosters to use ( I don't want to upgrade with Sky and give them even more money)

I'm at the end on my tether with this and Sky and totally feed up trying to get it resolved with Sky when I ring them( the Indian call centre is awful and they lie to you promising things they don't follow up on).

apologies for the long post but would welcome anyone's advice.

Tom

@Yenraek65 you can buy a whole home WiFi system of your own. I use a 3 unit TP-Link Deco M4 system for my own WiFi. I run this in Access Point modexwhere the Sky hub still acts as a router butvthe Deco provides the WiFi coversge with one of the three units connected by Ethernet to the hub. The 3 Deco units give a minimum of 150Mb/s in the most distsnt room,

Loads of different systems around things get more complicated if you want to attach a system directly to the ONT. A lot depends on the layout of your home but one unit per floor is typical. Trying to get speeds over 500Mb/s can get expensive.
