Just recently joined sky, when I signed up via USwitch I selected that I only wanted the standard broadband not the £5 extra for the Sky Max subscription. I phoned Sky earlier asking if I could be sent the Black Router and was told that has now been discontinued and they would be unable too swap the routers. Problem is the WIFI Signal with the Max Router is terrible can only get a full WIFI signal when sitting next too the router/in the same room. All they suggested was upgrading me too Max and they would send a Puck extender which I don't think will make a difference. Was previously with Virgin had a Hub 3.0 and the WIFI signal was full bar everywhere around my home. Thinking it's due too the router being WIFI 6 as the Virgin router was only WIFI 5.
