Very slow wifi
The new sky broadband (connected yesterday) is not working correctly. It takes up to 30 seconds to open a simple email. Opening the sky web page took several seconds from 8 feet away from the router. My sons can't get consistant wifi (it drops off constantly) upstairs in our small terrace house. I was with virgin until yesterday 350 broadband and opening emails etc was instant.

Re: Very slow wifi
I've done that several times already today and it says there are no issues. I'm currently having to use the mobile data on my phone to read a newspaper website that was loading pages instantly with virgin, because pages won't load at all, as in - the no Internet message screen - and pages that I have loaded by turning on my mobile data, won't show images if I turn off data again. I'm sitting less than 8ft from the router and hub. Had virgin with absolutely no issues for 2 years and was with sky for 9 years with no issues before that (same house). Basically have no usable Internet. I'm within the cooling off period and have used the internal email to make a complaint.

Try disabling the broadband shield to see if that helps.

Re: Very slow wifi
@Pelton here's what I do when I'm trying to identify problems with broadband:
- turn off power to the hub for a few minutes
- test the speed of the internet at the hub with a computer connected using an ethernet cable
- log in to router/hub to check things like Sky Shield/ VPN, firewall/ DNS settings are slowing things down
I recommend purchasing your own mesh system which you can use with any ISP in one way or another.
