Is that why some on here  who is moving  from Manchester to  London  is complaining  about have to have a new contract  because  sky have to pay open reach  to disconnect one service  and connect  the new one so sky can activate  it once he has  moved in

Open reach  engineer  told me last month while  he was in installing my fttp that by December  next year  the copper  phone  lines  will  be  mostly  gone and fibre  optic  lines will  be  replacing  them

Doesn't matter what an engineer might have told you/what engineer turned up. Virgin & Openreach do not share lines. They may well commission engineers from either company to do work on what are essentially the same infrastructure but it is not shared.

 

Also we don't really need to know what internet speed you have & that you have Sky Glass on every single thread. One would suffice or perhaps put it in your signature rather than posting it in each thread.
