Would be useful if you could post your router stats on your own thread.

Re: Very slow despite rebooting

but surely this will help the OG's post be bumped.. On downtime... skys issues are rocketing with internet problems.. Maybe Sky needs to fix their rubbish service.

@linz851

I only replied to it 15mins ago. Why on earth would it need bumping again?

Your stats suggest your connected at 49mbps download & 9mbps upload. Its not a perfect line as you have a minor sign of a line fault but should be getting more than your claimed 1mbps.

Can you run a speedtest on a device connected via ethernet and post the result here

When I do checks via sky... it always says everything is running fine. Never ever says there is an issue even when my router has a red light...

@Timwoolston

Your stats show a connection speed of 55mbps download & 13mbps upload. Your line is showing a minor fault which is why the speed is limited at 55mbps. I see you are using WiFi exclusively, have you tried running a speedtest over ethernet?

Open reach supplied the line that the Internet  is used on sky, Virgin and other Internet  service providers  rent it from them, if you  have Netflix  Open  the app, go to  get help and Open  it  scroll  to the network  checker run a test on there, also ring sky and tell them what is happening  and ask them to send out an Open reach  engineer,  also how long have you  had your hub ? You might  need  a  new one

Incorrect, Virgin Media and other Altnets don't rent any Openreach capacity, they have their own Fibre or HFC networks.

Is that why my brother  who went full fibre  to  the property  with Virgin media  had an open reach  engineer  come and fit it, and why I had the same with my sky full  fibre to the property
