Very slow WiFi

I'm experiencing very slow WiFi speed at the moment. I've run a speed test multiple times this morning (I use Fast.com) and it's ranging anywhere between 150Kpbs and 9Mbps. But given I'm paying for 300Mbps, even the top end of what I'm currently getting is way too low.
