Very intermittent wifi

My WiFi is intermittent and does not allow streaming to 60northradio app or others without stoping my test using standard internet sped does not exceed 50 bps down and 43 bps up one floor above router in Center cupboard under stair

Having a router in a cupboard under stairs is far from ideal for wifi signals from router.

If possible, try to place router out in the open which hopefully can improve connectivity.

Thank you. Just changed from Vodafone back to sky lowered int speed from 900bps to 500bps at 50% reduction in monthly fees. Now moved everything seems to be 'hunting' I e waits before showing screen details on any device then a few secs later it is there. Using  Speedtest app speeds hardly reach 50bps on the same position as Vodafone hum location where I would get over 700 bps on same Speedtest. On day of switch over I was not home so system sky was running on Vodafone hub for three days and WiFi speeds reached the 500bps on iPhone 17 air no problem. Was going to stay like that by sky refused to support it as expected . Swapped to sky router and hardly anything runs well now on WiFi. Fortunately my skybox is on the lan. So thanks for advice  but the problem is in the sky router not its position , unless it is a very cheap unit.
