I am just following up on an earlier post about not being able to connect to my corporate VPN after upgrading to the Sky Max Hub. I tried enabling Upnp but this hasn't resolved the issue.
I did leave a comment on the earlier post but not sure if that post has been closed.
Can someone help please?
Thanks

Re: VPN not connecting Sky Max hub
I am having the same issue have you managed to connect to your company's VPN?
I've gone through my internal help desk fault finding, they suggested I go to sky.
went to sky they said they can't do anything I have to go to the App but that's not been successful either.
really stuck 😞

Re: VPN not connecting Sky Max hub
Having the same issue. Just switched to Sky from BT and can't VPn into work (pretty crucial as I WFH fulltime).
Sadly this is just a Sky users forum and Sky don't seem to respond here.
I've tried enabling UPnP and disabling IPv6 on the router, and disabling Broadband Shield on my account.
Did you get this resolved? And how have you managed to get through to Sky to speak to a person. All I've got so far is bots.

Re: VPN not connecting Sky Max hub
Work VPN blocked: Since Upgrade to Fibre...
Its a known SKY issue and eventually I was recommended to get a Sky Business Account as advised VPNs prioritised and better support. The latter point is so important as only some of Sky Residential Support team know about VPN Blocking issue otherwise go down the frustrating & repetitive - reset hub, escalation Networks Team REPEAT route.
Sky Business are a similar price plus VAT so awaiting final confirmation....
Anyone using Sky Business & VPNs please comment??

Re: VPN not connecting Sky Max hub
@Jamal13 and for others see this post I made earlier answering another customer for the staps to take. Sky's domestic service is not designed for business use but should allow customers to work from home using a company VPN. This is a highly technical ssue and as you point out not all of Sky's agents are aware of the steps to take hence the form which contacts the small team involved in sorting this issue if the work round of enabling UPnP doesn't work .

Re: VPN not connecting Sky Max hub
The Networking Team have now fixed this issue. They did it remotely without any (known to me) reboot of the router.
Being a techie I'd love to know what the issue was.
