VPN CONNECTION DROPPING OUT
I have Sky Broadband and have been working between both home and office for the past 3/4 years, but am now having problems connecting into my work VPN and into my own personal work set up when I work from home which is essential for me to do my job.
The VPN has now become intermittent, but when it does connect I am finding that it is continuously disconnecting in a matter of seconds when I attempt to connect into my office PC set up . I have tried switching off the Broadband Shield, but this has not resolved the problem.
My IT department have also accessed my Laptop, but have been unable to find a problem with my VPN or work set up, so have been unable to fix the problem. This connection issue has never been a problem before.
Could my Sky Broadband settings have changed to cause this connection issue when it has been working fine until now?
I would appreciate some urgent help and advice on this please.
Thank you.
Beverly

Re: VPN CONNECTION DROPPING OUT
@Bev+Todd has your Sky hub been changed from a black one to a white one? If so there is a change which could impact company VPNs - see the post on this dubject pinned to the top of this forum.
Apart from that issue there have been no major changes reported but given VPNs rely on a regular keep alive signal things like WiFi interference can be a factor. If working from home you either need rock solid WiFi which is far vrom certain if you rely on a Sky hub. The best alternstive is to use a direct ethernet cable from the hub to your laptop
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: VPN CONNECTION DROPPING OUT
I have a black Sky hub. I'm going to try the Ethernet cable option from the hub to laptop that you've recommended to see if that works thanks.
