Useless internet connection

My internet connection drops out every day between 10 and 11 am.

its not working now!

whatever the problem is please fix it as soon as possible, or I will be forced to return the router and get a different provider

You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.

 

You perhaps need to investigate what else happens between those hours.


Otherwise, if you haven’t done it yet use this link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby.

This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households. (Remember it doesn’t necessarily disclose a problem instantly and it takes a little while to update).

If there aren't any then try running the line test here

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won't receive additional or quicker support.

Thanks for the reply.  
It's amazing that you can type all that info in 2 mins. 
This message was the first thing that popped up when I was trying to find a contact.


Anyway, tried all that just about every time the internet connection crashes.

@PhilGst If you have tried it all, time to call sky and get them to take a look at what's going on!

@PhilGst You did well, they are trying even harder now to hide it away, chatty seems to be it now true multi tasking at it's best!
