Upload speed are very low. Download is fine.
Since yesterday afternoon I've noticed my 500mb FTTH broadband has been slow on the upload. I'm getting a steady 485mb on the download, which is spot on. But the upload won't go above 0.15mbps which is not acceptable. I normally get around 50mbps. I've done all the usual troubleshooting, reboot modem, disconnect from power and reconnect, disconnect all devices. Ive even factory reset the modem and reset it back up. Still same low upload speeds. I tried to call tech support but I don't get home until 630pm and they close at 7pm and drop all calls queueing. Very frustrating. And ideas?

@MichaelJK Have you reset both the ONT and the sky Hub, power down both, start the ONT first will take a couple off minutes to get you back to the three green lights again, once the ONT is up, restart the sky Hub, it takes around five minutes to get booted up, then have a go to see what you have for down/up speeds again!

@MichaelJK Not sure if running the diagnostic will help, but here is the link to try especially when your download is ok, but OR/Sky may have an upload issue on the Fibre. Failing all off that then you need to try the hub off for a few hours and see if that works out!

Thanks Jim. It states that my broadband is working which technically it is but with a **bleep** upload speed. It also states that my Talk service is not working but knew that as I reset the modem. I'm going to have to wait until I can get talking to their tech support.

@MichaelJK Worth trying the hub off, but you do need to leave it for a few hours, try it that way when you retire for the night, then back on in the morning!

Unplugged the ONT and the router last night. This morning, I brought back up the ONT first and then the router.....Phone service is back working, download speed is as it should be but the download is at 1.07mbps. I called their support line only to be told that this is an acceptable level according to their service agreement??!! I will have to wait until Saturday, to be able to ring them when I am at the router. Thanks for all your advice Jim. I am at the end of the line with regards what could be causing this. It feels like my uplaod speed is throttled but Sky say it's not.

@MichaelJK It's always an issue and going to be, download is semi guaranteed but UPLOAD no one does, and poor upload you are as well not having a high download as the system will be so unresponsive!

That's what I keep saying to their tech support team. It's infuriating that it's only happened since Sunday afternoon. I can't use Zoom or anything that requires a decent upload speed . I'm going to have to wait until Saturday, when I'm at home and they're still open.
