Sky max is a hub that can be used on fttc and fttp connections and costs £7.50 pm on an 18 month contract. If is wifi 6 router and should give you better wifi within the house .

Gigafast is on the otherhand a 1Gbps connection to the hub using the sr203 hub

The question is do you need the faster speed or just better wifi

If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me

WiFi Max is available as an option on any Sky Broadband speed using FTTC or FTTP.

It's worth considering if you really need the features (particularly Parental Controls) for the additional cost.  The 'better' WiFi may be advantageous for 500Mbs and Gigabit FTTP, but other mesh systems are available.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
