Upgrade to Sky Fibre

Hi

im due to upgrade to Fibre on 3January, and have received a new router. Can I install before upgrade is complete? Also, if I do, will I still retain my Q services?

Thanks

mike

@MikeN1 the hub you received will connect to a Sky FTTC service simply usecthe cable you have for your current hub and connect it to the modem input.if the new hub is black it will connectvto your existing Q bixes just like your current hub.

However if you have the new white Sky hub that can only connect to your main Q box directly. If that applies it may be better to wait until your full fibre connection is installed.
