Trying to look at broadband upgrade options on the sky website and the message i keep getting is ' sorry, we're experiencing technical diffulties'......when is this likely to end as its been like this for ages. Am getting to the stage where i will just get broadband elsewhere. Frustrating.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis error can also occur when you are already on the fastest broadband package in your area. The breadline is delivered by the phone lines operated by Openreach so the limitation of the speed will be based on the cabling they use and the distance for are for the phone exchange. A lot of areas dont have fibre capabilities via Openreach yet so any faster upgrades may require you switching to "private" fibre companies like Virgin who use their own cabling system and don't rely on the Openreach infrastructure.
You can also try clearing your browser cache and cookies and try the Sky website again and see if that works but I suspect it's just because you are already on the best package available in your area.
