Update to broadband hub?

Can I get a new Sky q hub, as I received a letter from sky saying that it no longer receives service and security updates!

 

What aren't they  sending these new hubs out automatically?? We may enough for our broadband, surely this should be a standard?

Not a Sky Q hub. No. They are being replaced in batches.

The ER110 and ER115 internet routers are Q Hubs.  These and all Sky Hubs models before them no longer meet UK regulations for such devices, although there's no particular risk or urgency.

From December 2025.  There's no particular risk or urgency: these models just don't meet new UK government regulations for such devices.

When my Sky Q hub was replaced a few weeks ago one of the emails did state it didn't need returning.

I can't see anything on the website when I logged in, so do we just wait and they contact us again regarding replacement nearer to the end of December?

I just called them. Sky are sending me a new hub which works via fibre rather than what I currently have.  Price has increased by £1 per month and an engineer is coming in 2 weeks to do the connection etc.  So far the process has been simple and the guy I spoke to was very helpful

Was going to fo that, but commits to a 2 Yr contract. Sky getting expensive now so looking for alternative  cheaper when current one runs out

I received a letter today and they must have had my email address, they just emailed me with my 10 year members badge , whoopie do.. they are rubbish.
