Unstable broadband

Broadband connection is repeatedly unstable from several devices. Phone line appears to be fine.

@Northern+soul34 do you mean speeds vary or the connection is lost? First step is to run the conne ction test in the My Sky app while the hub is connected to see if it can find a problem. If you would like help from forum members post your hub's stats see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics

My broadband has not as yet been above the guaranteed speed. It is constantly cutting out and downloading can be slow. Keep getting chucked out of games due to connection problems. I have tested it umpteen times on the mysky app and it always says there's a problem. Engineer came and looked and said it was a problem external to the house and down a man hole, which he couldn't investigate further because he was on his own. Open reach came and did something, but did not speak to me about what they were doing, so not sure if they managed to fix anything. Video streaming is always buffering on Netflix and prime. Netflix won't even start at the moment. Sky are quiet happily charging me for a broadband speed I am yet to achieve. Not sure how their guarantee works, but they take the money regardless. Not sure I have ever had the service I paid for! They should be automatically refunding us when they fall short Think I will be checking out other broadband providers shortly!
