Hoping someone is able to help, trying to get a Unifi Dream Router working by directly connecting to the ONT - I've filled in option 61 with a generic string, enabled VLAN 101 and tried a MAC clone of the Sky Router but no joy thus far. I had an ASUS router that was working fine until a few days ago, that despite numerous reboots of the ONT and the router never synced up. The primary Sky router seems OK and syncs fairly quickly.
Settings used below: Might there be a problem handing out leases at the exchange? I've waited overnight and still no joy, tried restarting both ONT and the router too several times without any joy.

Everything looks good with the exception of the VLAN which should be unset for FTTP and connecting to an ONT.

@Sparkzsta how did you get the DHCP client options to show? Mine doesn't show that in the WAN settings

Thank you so much, I'll give that a go and see what happens. Will report back with progress!

Hi, I initially connected a LAN cable from the Sky router to the WAN port in the UDR, let it run its setup routine and then that allowed the UDR to firmware update - it showed up following that. Running the setup routine connected directly to the UDR from the ONT meant no internet connection was detected and the stock firmware doesn't seem to have Option 61.

You sir, are a legend.
I've been tearing my hair out for two days trying to sort this out and you've just fixed it in the space of a single post.
Thank you once again.

I never needed it in the end on mine. I was setting the VLAN so once that was unset it just connected. Then when I updated the firmware the option showed, however, I've still not set it as it's connected fine.
