Speed limited to 30mbps

I got Sky Broadband Ultrafast (G.fast version) nearly 2 weeks ago and was working fine for the first week. On Thursday it was not working throughout the entire evening and overnight due to an outage in my area. It's now working again but I'm only getting 30mbps instead of the 145mbps that I'm paying for. Router stats and Sky speed checker both show 159mbps. So why is my speed being limited?

Hi @theskyisblue123 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot?

Already did that yesterday, no improvement in speed.

Re: Speed limited to 30mbps

Just did another reboot and speed is back to normal now, even though router stats remain the same. Very strange why my speed was limited before.

@theskyisblue123 we have seen this in the past when one of the Sky servers you connect to goes faulty. Dropping the connection can cause you to connect to a different physical unit. Sky do fix the units but as they are often remote from their sites it takes a few days.
