Unable to connect new router

Hi all,

Splashed out an bought a new router, however when I connect it i'm unable to get any internet connection. I'm assuming i need to reconfigure the current setup but i simply just don't know what need to be done.

I've included pcitures of the new router, the red light on Internet and the fiber box on the wall. Any assistance would be much welcomed.

Connection type       pppoe

Username                    anything@skydsl

Password                     anything

Vlanid/vid                     10

Not sure what tplink router address is

but i don't think its that one. Should be with any instructions

All those settings should be in the wan settings section once you log  in

Re: Unable to connect new router

@cookiemonsteruk

I've managed to get in.

Connection type: PPPoE (done)

Username: anything@skydsl (done)

Password: anything (done)

The next part is IPTV/VLAN = OFF

If i switch this on i get

Mode = Bridge  other options are Custom or ISP Profile, so i need to pic either of these?

I've tried custom Internet VLAN ID = 10  but still won't connect

Pick custom and make sure you enter 10 in the internet vid/vlanid

If not choose isp profile and pick a new zealand isp they tend to have a vid of 10 as well
