I have spent hours trying to connect my Echo Plus to Sky. Having read posts I appreciate that a channel split is necessary. I have tried to do this, but when I click 'apply' at the bottom of the page, it will not load and I receive a message saying 'connection is lost'. Can anyone please help me? The Echo works perfectly well with BT and Plusnet.

Hello. I have now split the channels but it still won't connect to the internet. 'Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding right now'. It is set up to connect to 2.4Ghz. I have asked for the time and day, and it did respond but not very quickly. Now it's frozen on blue and green. Any further advice please?

If you have seperated wifi so that there are two networks showing for your hub make sure the device you are using to set the amazon up is on the same ssid
If that still fails follow the steps below

Hello. I have split the channels but my Amazon echo is still not connecting. I have read that some people have mentioned removing the Sky shield. Is this something that I should contact Sky to do? Also, by removing it will it leave me vulnerable?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@4West11 Amazon devices can be difficult to connect to wifi no matter the ISP. A common problem is that the memory used to record the log on data on the device can get corrupted so cannot accept the new value.
The quickest way round this is to do a factory reset on the Echo. Amazon changes how to do this on different generations but this is the method for 3rd and 4th generation Echos https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GCVV6G7AY7AFJF4K
