Ultrafast to ultrafast max
Got ultrafast max yesterday and was activated yesterday evening I have a 4.2 hub disconnected all power and plugged it back in after an hour but it is still at the 480 mb I used to get on my ultrafast plan.
How do I sort this out to get the higher speed?

Re: Ultrafast to ultrafast max
@petersg Have a look on the service checker, you may see if your upgrade has been applied, when did sky say they would activate your upgrade?

Re: Ultrafast to ultrafast max
No that's how I knew it was activated, but still no increase in the speed I've tried leaving it turned off for half an hour but still just goes back to 480 mb when it reboots.
thanks

Re: Ultrafast to ultrafast max
@petersg to prove this you must run a speed test using a device with a gigabit ethernet port connected by a direct ethernet cable. Your Hub4.2 offers WiFi5 which has a maximum WiFi speed under 700Mb/s in ideal conditions. The newer white Sky Max hub offers WiFi6 so canoffer the full 900Mb/s over WiFi.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Ultrafast to ultrafast max
@petersg Have a look on the web manager to the hub with 192.168.0.1 then goto maintenance / router status, the Modem should be updated on the FF 500 the figures are 549,900 and 75,000 so for your Gigabit would be something like 999,900 and 110,000 and also the Service checker should have jumped up and with the text on that page to indicate the current package sky are supplying to you.
Does take someone at sky to up your profile, once done then does take 24hrs to apply!
Ethernet connection device may just be needed to check if the mobile wifi device just does not have the ompf to get above your 500mb/s when you speed check with it!
