USB-C external hard drive setting for Sky Wifi Max

How do you set up an external hardrive via the usb-c port on the back of the sky WiFi max router?

You can't, that's to power the Hub. The PSU that comes with the Max is USB-C.

Thats not how my hub is powered, it has its own ac power adapter?!

The USB-C power is for use in EU countries where that's now the mandated  adapter (note the phone port marked for Italia/RoI).  As @FLC indicates, the  operating system of the Hub itself does not support USB storage or device connectivity, and anything plugged into it will not appear on the local network.

@BeccaW you can use either the power supply input or the USB C for power but you cannot use the USB C for any other purpose.unfortunately.
