URL for internet service

I am adding a device to the home entertainment, and it requires me to add the sky URL during set up. I called sky to give me and the adviser gave me an IP address (all digits and dots )  and then  to log on with my broadband password. After loggin in i still cannot find the URL and they aksed me to join the sky community and ask there . Im in my seccond day of searching for this URL , kindly help me (as you can see i am not an IT expert)

Assuming you are on a Windows machine, type “cmd” in the search box.  A black and white window should open.  Type “ping -a ” and the IP address you were given then press enter.  Should look like

ping -a xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

The results will include the URL

@ACDube what is the device and can you post the on- screen message after rdmoving any personal info if there is any?

If you are trying to stream of Sky content that is only possible using one of their own apps which contain the iP details required third party apps cannot work due to the DRM systems Sky use.
