Two problems after full fibre installation

Hi,

 

two problems after full fibre installation.

 

firstly, my home phone isn't working. If I ring house phone from mobile I get a ringing tone but the actual phone in the house doesn't ring. Trying to ring out from the house phone I get a mixture if dial tone and engaged tone or nothing.

 

secondly, my sky hub isn't being recognised by the my sky app which is reporting a system fault even though everything but these two items are working.

 

Sky Q download working fine etc

 

any ideas?

@Crickt+Fan you home phone needs to be plugged into the back of the Sky hub as your old phone sockets will no longer work. Most standard UK phones will work with the hub.

 

It takes sometime for the app to catch up so thst issue is probably simply because the app isxstill checking the old connection. Shoukd update over night.
