Buffering is caused by a lack of throughput of about 10Mbps for HD and 25Mbps for UHD to the TV concerned via the route you use whether wired or wireless. If you are connected by wireless then you need to ensure it is in range of the router wireless system preferably over the 5Ghz wireless band as 2.4Ghz is usually poor and may have throughput issues dropping the speed below 10/25Mbps respectfully for BBC iPlayer HD/UHD.
