Re: Tv is buffering
@TC4873 From the help. You need to say what booster model and to which sky Hub you are trying to connect that too!

Re: Tv is buffering
@TC4873 Ok, does the booster work with the sky Max hub, and is that where yout TV is within the range off the booster?
The RE500X V2 would have been closer to the spec of the sky Max hub!

Erm....... I dunno. My son installed it last night. According to the app the booster is connected but I don't see any 'clients' on it....

Re: Tv is buffering
@TC4873 Best you check the booster is working, place it close to the TV and see, search the ssid in case it did the usual TP link and added a _EXT on your sky name, if so you need to connect to that or get rid of the _EXT to keep the same name on both devices for seamless roaming around the home!

Re: Tv is buffering
Chat GBT says there are too many devices attached- 3 TVs, 3 phones and 4 echo dots (not in use but connected)....

Re: Tv is buffering
@TC4873 Got no idea what you are going on about, the RE would be positioned as a booster approx halfway between devices that you struggle to reach, so if your TV is say 40' away then place the booster at about the 25' mark, the signal from the Max hub has to be able to reach the booster so they can pass wifi between each device and then further to the TV! The booster you have got is not a fast spec device but should be able to handle a TV data rate fine!
It is the TV that has the signal issue that you are going on about...
Do not care about anything chat GBT has got to say, they never get anything right so take it all with a pinch off salt!
