Hi Guys,
Been banging my head against the wall with this issue. I'm trying to get port forwarding to work with no joy. I have followed the official instructions provided by sky (https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/How-to-set-up-port-forwarding/ba-p/2662260) mutliple times with factory resets between attempts and still no luck.
No matter what ports I try to open it doesn't appear to do anything.
I have experience forwarding ports in the past without any issue prior to joining sky, but I just cannot seem to get it to work.
I've made sure I have the ports opened on Windows firewall also and I am not running any third-party firewall.
The specific port I am attempting to open is: 24872 but I have tested other common ports without success
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@AshUK92 the instructions do work as advised however to manage a Sky hub do not use Apple equipment (either ios or Macos) as there is some imcompatability meaning its a lottery as to whether the changes get saved instead use a Windows or Android machine.
There is one thing that does catch people out when using port checking sites is that the port will test as still closed unless the device being targetted has a server running that will respond to the probes the checker uses.
