Re: Tp link Duco S7 and comparability with sky broadband and tv boxes
@Perrins1 assume you mean Deco rather than "Duco". You can use Deco wifi systems with Sky broadband and Sky TV boxes I use a Deco system myself. While Sky do not support third party kit it doesnt mean it doesn't work.
A lot depends on what broadband service you buy but the simplst set up is to use the Sky hub to connect to the line, turn iff its Wifi and connect one of the Deco units to a LAN port on the Sky hub. The Deco app allows you to confugure the units in Access Point mode which is simple and works but you lose services like Deco's parental control. You could configure the Deco as a router and have double NAT which should also work well. In theory you can get rid of the Sky hub if you have full fibre but TP-Link dont make that simple but whether it works depends on things outside your control.
The only Sky TV boxes you will have any issues with are Sky Q. Here if you have any Q minis they dont connect to third party wifi so these do add some complications.

Thanks . Yes it's the mini boxes that seem to be unstable mostly .and wonder if the deco are interfering . I have left the sky stuff on the original network but running deco for other things in house . do you think this should be ok or would I be better off with sky boosters ?

@Perrins1 There is a setting in the Deco app to "Optimize the Network" which should stop any interference issues.
