Tonie box set up

We have Tonie a box (sent an old one back thinking it was the Tonie itself that wouldn't work)

we have upgraded from the black router box to sky max white hub.

however the Tonie box will not connect to this WiFi at all. I have disabled the 5ghz frequency so only the 2.4 ghz is available however this still doesn't work.

I have tried everything andn tried to manually add data into but the Tonie keeps stating my password is wrong when I have copied and pasted it in ?

any idea how to resolve ? Otherwise we will be leaving to virgin

Have you moved the wireless encryption from its default WPA3-T to WPA2?

Re: Tonie box set up

Hi John, did you get anywhere with this?

I'm currently having the same problem. Recently changed a to max hub and can't get the tonie box 2 to connect. It gives the option of the hub and takes the password but when trying to connect says there is no activie internet connection, all other devices in the house work no bother.

Did you try the advice given above? Change the router's security setting from WPA3 to WPA2 in the MySky app.

Re: Tonie box set up

Yes have tried the above before posting. Tried turning 5ghz off. Reset hub and tonnie box but nothing seems to be working. Definitely the max hub at fault as works fine on hotspot and when I tried on my parents hub.

Re: Tonie box set up

I have exactly the same issue. Tried all suggestions previously given, also Factory reset on the Tonie 2 box to no joy.

works worst a hotspot from phone but just refuses to connect to WiFi hub, although interestingly shows as on offline previously connected devices.

Any help or further suggestions  appreciated as is infuriating having to manually connect to hotspot for timer settings every night.
