Third party router

Hi,

DPD keep failing to deliver my broadband and sky stream puck.
my broadband is active and I am holding off moving in to my first home as I have no internet and can't watch tv/play games or use my phone as the signal isn't very good.
Is it possible to connect a third party router to my ONT?

@GG561  You can use a 3rd party router as long as it is DHCP Option 60/61 (MER) compatible, have a search of the forum as there are dozens of threads about compatible routers. (Asus being the most common one used).

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.
