There was no Activation date on my new SKY broadband box. Can I just plug in and go?

I received a new SKY Broadband box today, but there was no Activation Date anywhere on the box. Can I just set up and go?

@Hussars  If you already have Sky broadband and it is already working then you can just change the routers over.
