Terrible broadband signal and no phone line

Just changed over to SKY broadband and they SKY talk. The broadband is dreadful in every room including where the router is situated. I previously had an eero which we used to extend wifi to the garden. It makes absolutely no difference with sky broadband. I have no phone line at all and can't make calls. As we work from home, we will need something to boost the wifi signal. Can sky provide this or send out an engineer to check it? Wishing I had never changed!
