Technical Error setting up new contract

Hello!

 

I've been trying to purchase a new broadband and TV package for my new house for a couple of days now but the website keeps flagging up technical issues and not letting me complete. 

I have cleared cookies and cache and tried on a few different devices - seems to be an issue with the Sky sales software?

 

Im keen to purchase online as wish to avoid the fee for setting up over the phone, but this is leaving me with no other option. 

Is this error likely to be fixed soon?

@AmyM2 If you cannot manage to do it online, then you just have to call, sky's number is not a premium so what fee are you talking about.

Hi Jim,

 

When I renewed my last contract for another property a couple of weeks ago they were wanting to charge £20 for doing this over the phone instead of online. Is that not the case for new contracts?

@AmyM2 not normally and the agent can wave the charge if the online issue stops you buying.
