Talk Talk or Sky
I was thinking of transferring my Internet to Sky from TT - After 20+ years with TT
But on reading all of the problems people have had with Sky BB - I don't think that it's worth risking
What also bothers me - is that I can get FF from Sky for £21 - but what about Voice (a telephone) - no price is available !!
Anyone ?

PAYG voice service ('Sky Talk Internet Calls') is included with every Sky Broadband subscription at no additional cost: actually making outbound calls is horribly expensive on that tariff.
Add-on 'inclusive' call bundles are available (pricing below may not be accurate). Sky doesn't provide telephone handsets of any kind.
Sky Talk Evenings & Weekends Extra
Enjoy inclusive calls to UK landlines and mobiles after 7pm Monday to Friday, as well as all day on weekends. International landline calls are charged at standard rates.
The Sky Talk Evenings & Weekends Extra tariff costs an extra £10 per month when added onto your selected Sky package.
Sky Talk Anytime Extra
With Sky Anytime Extra, you’ll receive inclusive calls to UK landlines and mobiles at any time throughout the week, and at weekends. This tariff will set you back just £18 per month on top of your selected Sky subscription.
Sky Talk International Extra
Stay in touch with loved ones all across the world with Sky Talk International Extra, which gives you inclusive international calls to 50 global destinations. And don’t worry about neglecting those closer to home, as you’ll also get inclusive calls to UK landlines and mobiles at any time, any day of the week.
Sky Talk International Extra costs just £24 extra per month when added to your Sky subscription.

Re: Talk Talk or Sky
Hi @Wibbly-Woo
I cannot help with the telephone but can confirm Sky broadband is ok for me having switched over from TalkTalk to Sky in August as Sky offered me such a great deal on Fibre 150 ( less than £20 per month) that TalkTalk would not match (£26 per month) for 24 month contract. I took the view that we never used the landline and only ever received nuisance calls so even though Sky provide a landline number I have never connected a phone and do not intend to in future.
I already had a working Mesh network for our bungalow (using Amazon Eero 6 devices) and so reports of poor wi-fi range did not concern me as I have switched off Sky wi-fi and just use my Mesh.
We have had no outages in the 4+ months since moving to Sky, so far so good.
However, I would say that Sky customer service is the most difficult to make contact with an actual person ! For all the bad reports about TalkTalk, I was a customer of theirs for many years and had little trouble and when we did their customer service was easly contactable and resolved my issues.
If I can get a better deal at the end of my Sky contract I'll be off to whichever providor gives a good deal.
You pays your money and takes your choice I guess (hoping this does not come back to byte me).
Good luck whatever you decide.

Re: Talk Talk or Sky
I moved from TT to Sky April 24 on an 18 month contract just before renewal I was looking around at the options available out there .
In that time I had no issues with the service as for the Landline we only use it for incoming calls from the NHS and related things
For outgoing calls I have a £2.90 a month sim from Spusu which covers my needs .
Whilst looking on U Switch an offer popped up from Sky £2 less a month and an increase in speed from 100 to 150 so I've stopped with Sky and not had any issues since I did that in August
Only slight downside would be whilst the Hub gives good WiFi coverage it is only WiFi 5 unless you pay extra for a Max Hub and the security is still WPA2
That's my experience of switching between the two firms
