TP-Link RE505X WiFi 6 V1 struggling to connect to 5GHz from Sky Router (HUB6 V1)

when trying to set up my TP-Link RE505X WiFi 6 V1 as a range extender it connects to my routers 2.4GHz perfectly fine but for me to connect it to my 5GHz band i have to turn that band off and on again for it to be able to detect it and this connection then only last for a day - any ideas on changes that i can make to either device so that the 5GHz band connects

@Mark8614 using a third party wifi extender with the Sky Max hub is never going to be that succesful as you are finding. Either use an ethernet cable to link the TP-Linkunit to the Sky hub or get a matched extender pod from Sky as part of their WiFi Max bundle.

@Mark8614 The Tp-Link RE is for sure a WPA2-PSK device, so be sure to de-tune your sky Max hub securities down from it's WPA3-T using your MySky app and if you are lucky it may connect on the Max 5Ghz band, sky Max likes to channel way up the Frequency range so your TP may just not like to be up there for it's operation.
