TP Link Extender now useless (RE550) - What to do?

Hi, I recently joined Sky from BT (quite regretful already).

I have a TP link range extender (RE550) in my garden office. It seems due to the Sky max hub changing dfs signal and operating on channels my extender cannot work on, I can no longer use my 5ghz network. 

Do Sky offer any range extenders for this problem? I'm not thrilled about the idea of paying even more for this as I've never had any issues with BT. I've seen you can get Sky Max Pods. Are these a TP Link equivalent that will work on 5ghz at a distance of 15m in a cabin that seems to frustratingly block out a lot of signal. My RE550 always worked well until I changed my services.

Your right the Sky Max hub does use DFS channels if it finds that other 5ghz channels are occupied and this cannot be changed within the hubs settings. 
Sky does provide extenders in the form of Max pods, these are supplied if you have the WiFi max addon. However I would note that typically Sky dont cover any external buildings including garden offices so this would be an unsupported deployment. I would recommend that you look at alternative 3rd party extenders that do support DFS rather than mess around with a Sky booster which may not work and Sky likely wont give support on.
