TP-Link Deco X55 AX3000 With Sky Broadband and Sky Q

Hi,

looking for guidance please?

i have joined a Deco by Ethernet to the sky broadband by access point setting and turned off the broadband box Wi-Fi and the Sky Q 2.4 and 5 settings on the tv.

i have wired the Sky Q though a  powerline device and a pc also.

the signal and speed seems good around the house but the signal keeps dropping out upstairs especially when on Teams etc.

can anyone shed any light please? Not great with computer stuff so please talk to me as a five year old!

@Cookie111

On what device is it dropping? The PC upstairs connected to powerline?

Re: TP-Link Deco X55 AX3000 With Sky Broadband and Sky Q

Hi,

 I placed a second post to say that it is on Wi-Fi ....it  is my wife's work computer.

i have since found out that she has a vpn and her computer throws her off Mesh.

I tried locking it to one Deco to see if any better....it wasn't!

i have plugged Ethernet lead into back of  the upstairs Deco and it has been faultless since!

so we have a workaround now,but itwould be nice to understand the issue?

thanks for your response
