Switching to sky
Hi, I have today switched my broadband and landline to sky from virgin via the one touch switch and was told that I would need to contact virgin media to cancel my tv services, does anybody know if this is correct as when I did a live chat with virgin they said I don't need to as tv services will be cancelled when I switch to sky broadband but in the next breath she says I have to give 30 days notice. The sky advisor who did my order says they do not cancel the tv under the one touch switch.
Thank you in advance for any help
Karen

That's correct: the one-touch-switch process has nothing to do with subscription television.
Virgin could choose to cease their own TV subscriptions when customers stop using their cable broadband, but apparently don't.

Re: Switching to sky
Hi thank you for your answer, they didn't like that we were cancelling tv as well but quoted £149 a month which was crazy, they said we cannot give 30 days notice whilst having the one touch switch activated, have to get on to them again, fun 🤷🏻♀️

They did do that with myself recently albeit it was a free Stream box they gave me when I switched to them for broadband. Everything sent back and I no longer have an active acount with them, just a partial ETC (I think) due on my billing date.
