I am doing the same.
EE have written and emailed me.
On change over day will EE broadband just stop working when OR do their cabnet bit?
The new sky superfast is phone over voip, so guess the landline phone will stop when change over occurs and i could spot the change over?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreCorrect, when your EE service stops working you can plug your Sky hub in and plug the phone into the hub.
It may take until midnight on the day for your Sky connection to start working

I have been with EE since it was wanadoo, orange days, so never changed ISP before.
So the EE internet will actually stop altogther on change over day, better tell my daughter not to work from home that day then...

Normally you would expect to lose your connection for about 30mins while the changeover happens and you plug the Sky hub in. However like I said in my last post it can take until midnight so you do need to account for that.
